i have witness on many occasions where guys on cruisers almost lost it in the twisties because they were trying to follow other bikes through the corners. They might have the riding skills but they forget that the piece of shit they are riding cant turn. And yes Rossi can ride thats why people idolise him. But when people idolise Hells Angels??

Well i tried turning it the last time i rode a cruiser, I hardly even lean when the pegs were all over the asphalt, even when i tried shifting my weight to change the centre of gravity of the bike, the bike couldnt even turn fast. Yes, it is not the bike that determines the rider but a person must be an idiot to say that a cruiser can turn fast. Remember it is a CRUISER, it is not suppose to go FAST! Well, prove me wrong take your bike to track and see how many sportsbikes you can out run!

Well let me tell you a story I had '86 shadow it developed a hesitation the dealer said anything over 10 years was obsolete they could not fix the problem, so what do you do, try to fix it your self the parts are not being made anymore... Not the case with H-D every body has parts and knowledge dating to 1903.. rest my case

And I don't think you want me to bring up the years that Hardley tried to directly compete against foreign rockets...because they were a total embarrassment and couldn't make a competitive bike if their lives depended on it. Don't let any of them get to you. When their nicknames are the same as their bike's (i.e. Fat Bob, Fat Boy, etc.), they just need an ego boost. It hurts when a bike costing 1/2 - 2/3 what they paid can walk away from them and get better fuel economy. Besides, if displacement = manhood, they are feeling pretty inadequate when a 2300 Triumph Rocket III rider pulls up and laughs. If they weren't interested in wearing a skirt, why would they come view this video?

I realize that it's cool to hate HD, but there's not a single metric cruiser around 1200cc that produces as much torque as the Sportster, and none of them are less than 100 lbs heavier. HD makes some impressive engines around fairly strict aesthetic limitations. If the bikes aren't your cup of tea, that's fine, but give the engineers credit where credit is due.
